In this category, the project Intangible Matter has also been awarded a special mention. The Holy Spirit Parish in Granada, designed by Elisa Valero Ramos, and the Fish Market and the organisation of the southern area of the Port of Roquetas de Mar, designed by Estudio Acta.
In the category of Conservation, Rehabilitation and Enhancement of Built Heritage, the jury has opted for the intervention carried out by Ignacio Laguillo Díaz in the Town Hall of Fuentes de Andalucía. In this case, not only the rigour in the harmonious intervention of a historic building using a contemporary language is highlighted, but also the use of traditional construction techniques, such as in this case the use of mortar. The importance of this type of action in buildings that are a reference point for preserving and stimulating life in small municipalities is also highlighted.
