For the new Scalpers store in Porto, we have renovated a historic building located at 360 Rua de Santa Catarina.

From the very beginning, our goal has been to make this flagship store a unique space. To that end, we have incorporated traditional Portuguese cobblestones into the ground floor flooring, using the same material that lines this iconic street. Likewise, the iconic Portuguese azulejo tile takes center stage on the facade, conceptually adapted to our logo.

In terms of layout, the men’s collection is displayed on the ground floor, while the women’s collection occupies the first floor. For the furniture, we opted for a combination of steel and natural oak. The walls, meanwhile, feature a textured lime mortar finish—an eco-friendly and sustainable solution.

The project conceives the visitor’s experience as a unique journey where the architecture pays homage to the local environment, allowing the fashion collection to take center stage.
